  • Story behind the image:

    This was my third trip to Death Valley National Park in 2016; A year that will most likely be remembered for the super bloom. In years past I had photographed Badwater Basin but it never quite looked as how I envisioned: delicate looking polygonal outlines that were almost as white as snow. I finally got my opportunity while on a family vacation.
